Day 1:   Tsavo East National Park (Southern Kenya)

You will be picked up at your hotel and depart for Tsavo East by 0700hrs and drive along the main

Mombasa – Nairobi highway. We will have a short break around 0900hrs thereafter arrive at Tsavo East – home of the red elephants by 1300hrs. We will have a game drive en route to the lodge for lunch and check in. After lunch you can relax in the lodge until 1600hrs when we will go for our evening game drive searching for the animals until 1830hrs when we return to the lodge for dinner.

Animals to be seen here include elephant, lions, cheetah, zebra, antelopes, Giraffe, gazelles and many more herbivores. You should see Lions and buffalo with a possibility of cheetah, leopard and rhino and birds amongst many other mammals.

Day 2:  Tsavo West National Park (Southern Kenya)

After breakfast, we check out of the lodge by 0730hrs and have a short game drive while we exit the park. Thereafter we will make our way to Manyani Gate of Tsavo West and enter the park and have a game drive en route to the lodge for check in and lunch we are expected at the lodge by 1300hrs. Tsavo West is known as the land of lions and lava and you can see this in the beautiful volcanic terrain there. After lunch you relax in the lodge until 1600hrs when we do a short game drive.


Tsavo West is hillier, rockier, greener and more vegetated than Tsavo East. Over 50 different kinds of mammals graze hunt and scavenge in the park's grasslands and bush. Large populations of elephant, leopard, hippo and lions roam the plains. Zebras are always seen quenching their thirst near the waterholes. A great place for photography.

Day 3:  Amboseli National Park (Southern Kenya)

Depart for Amboseli National Park to arrive for lunch.  After lunch you will go for a game drive in the swampy areas sighting the various birdlife. 425 species of birds have been recorded – water birds, birds of prey, open savannah birds as well as dry scrub land birds.  The backdrop of the snow-capped Kilimanjaro enhances great photography.


This park comprises a diversity of habitats, open plains alternating with savannah bush and semi-desert scrub; acacia woodlands; rocky ridges and outcrops. With a permanent water source, the Park virtually guarantees enormous herds and excellent game viewing including Cheetah, Lion, Leopard and Hyena and a herd of over 3,500 Elephants.

Day 4:  Lake Naivasha (Rift Valley)

On this day you drive to Lake Naivasha very early past Nairobi to arrive in time for lunch.  In the afternoon you go for a boat ride and later in the evening you are at leisure by the shores of Lake Naivasha. This Lake lies on an alluvium-covered flat in the valley floor and is flanked on the north by an extensive papyrus swamp. It is the highest of the lakes in the eastern part of the rift system, and is situated at 6,180 feet (1,884 m) above sea level . Its level and size fluctuate periodically; in the mid-1970s it covered about 81 square miles (210 square km). Its main tributaries are the Engare Melewa and Gilgil rivers. Although it has no outlet, the lake’s waters are fresh. Several species of Tilapia and black bass (introduced) are the basis of commercial and sport fishing. Bird-watching is also popular with over 450 species recorded.

Day 5:  Masai Mara

Depart after early breakfast for the Mara to arrive in time for lunch. Mid afternoon is at leisure and at 1600hrs you go for your afternoon game drive and thereafter return to your camp for dinner and overnight.


The Masai Mara is a vast game reserve with undulating plains, hills and woodland grooves in the southwest corner of Kenya, shares its southwestern border with Tanzania. This is lion and elephant country with leopard, cheetah and a recovering population of black rhino. The Mara is home to several hundred species of birds and is famous for the annual migration of wildebeest (some of whom are still around) thundering across the southern plains to the Serengeti in Tanzania. After dinner guests are at their pleasure to retire for the night.

Day 6:  Masai Mara

This day will be full of adventure.  The wildlife here is unlimited. Take your time to study animals and watch them live their normal activities.  Lion Kills, leopard attacks, hyena scavenging are all a common practice in the wonderful Masai Mara.

The Mara is full of exciting wildlife. The hippos and crocodile mingle in this extraordinary river awaiting the return of the wildebeest, which at times is still months away. Position yourselves in strategic points along the river and view the wildebeest, zebra and gazelle cross the Mara River. Your lunch will be served at the isolated picnic trees dotting the savannah. There is nothing as breathtaking as lunch under the African bananite trees in the picnic points of the Masai Mara. You will continue with your game drive through the Mara plains in search of more wild game including lions and cheetah etc. You will thereafter drive back to the camp in time for dinner.


Visit a Masai Village and take photos of their unchanged cultures.

Day 7:  Nairobi

After your morning game drive, you travel back to Nairobi to arrive mid afternoon. The evening is at leisure or you can visit the Carnivore Restaurant for an African “meaty experience”

Day 8:  Nairobi City Tour

On this day you visit the David Sheldrick’s Elephant Orphanage, The center hosts orphaned elephants, rescued mainly from Kenya. They are rehabilitated here and then taken to a secondary facility in southern Kenya to prepare them for their adult lives. Since it was founded, the orphanage has successfully hand- raised more than 150 infant elephants, a great achievement indeed. Apart from elephants, the center also hosts orphaned and injured rhinos. These too are rehabilitated and cared for by the keepers at the center.


Once in a while you may be joined by other guest animals, such as the odd-looking Common Warthogs who come to steal some of the elephant food and enjoy a mud roll at the pit.  You will also learn elephant biology and the threats facing the species. The local education team will also teach you about how the orphans are cared for until rehabilitation. Further, you will learn how you can adopt a baby elephant, if you are interested in adopting.  Other activities include Elephant Bottle-Milk Feeding, Elephant Dust Roll. [2hrs]


In the afternoon you visit the Giraffe Centre.  This is a fun place to visit for animal lovers. It is also a place where people learn about the environment and biodiversity. Visitors feed giraffes in the Centre from an observation platform. The Giraffe Centre has about 500 Rothschild giraffes, and it is one of the main attractions in Nairobi.  Visitors also enjoy nature walks through the sanctuary to see the flora and fauna of this forest. There are numerous bird species living in the Centre. [2hrs]



You will later be transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your departure.

Accommodation is permanent tented camps and lodges in fenced area with 24 hr. security.  All the tents/rooms have twin beds, instant hot showers, generator power, swimming pools, WI-FI, comfortable beds with mosquito nets and self-contained bathrooms.  The restaurant provides buffet menu for meals and European breakfast.  The bar is also well stocked.
