Visit the Kenya National museum
The Museum aims to interpret Kenya’s rich heritage and offers a one stop for visitors to sample the country’s rich heritage both for education and leisure. In addition to the museum, visitors are treated to a variety of shopping and dining facilities, as well as botanical gardens that offer a serene environment.
The museum is open on all 356 days throughout the year from 0830hrs – 17300hrs.
A walk in the city centre
See he national parliament buildings, the National Archives, the Mzee Jomo Kenyatta Mausoleum and the August 7th Memorial Park. Walk through the streets of Nairobi and mingle with Kenyans doing their daily chores. Do not forget the Uhuru park (freedom park) [2 hrs]

Early morning safari to Nairobi National Park
A short drive out of Nairobi’s central business district is the Nairobi National Park. Wide open grass plains and backdrop of the city scrapers, scattered acacia bush play host to a wide variety of wildlife including the endangered black rhino, lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, buffaloes, giraffes and diverse birdlife with over 400 species recorded. Visitors can enjoy the park’s picnic sites, three campsites and the walking trails for hikers. [4 hrs]
David Sheldrick’s Elephant home
A haven for elephant orphans rhinos and other animals. Learn about elephant conservation, anti-poaching resource etc and adopt a baby elephant. [2 hrs]
The Giraffe Center is approximately 5 kilometers from the centre of Nairobi, Kenya. It was established in order to protect the endangered Rothschild giraffe, Giraffa camelopardalis rothschildi, that is found only in the grasslands of East Africa.
The main attraction for both school children and visitors is feeding giraffes from a raised observation platform. The Giraffe Center is also home to several warthogs which freely roam the area along with the giraffe. [2 hrs]

Bomas of Kenya
Bomas of Kenya is a tourist village in Langata, Nairobi. Bomas (homesteads) displays traditional villages belonging to the several Kenyan tribes. Bomas of Kenya is home to one of largest auditorium in Africa displaying African traditional songs and fetes. [3 hrs]
Dinner and entertainment at the Carnivore Restaurant
Carnivore is an open-air restaurant in the Langata suburb of Nairobi, Kenya. Carnivore’s specialty is meat, and features an all-you-can-eat meat buffet. The restaurant serves meat of domestic animals (such as beef, pork, lamb and chicken), as well as meat of farmed ostrich and crocodile. The meat is skewered on Maasai swords, cooked on coals and served on cast-iron plates. It does have a vegetarian option and remains a popular tourist destination. [3 hrs]

Camera with zoom lenses
Extra pair of binoculars (if available). All our vehicles have a pair each.
Light clothing for the day and at least a sweater or coat for the evenings which might be cold at times.
Accommodation is permanent tented camps and lodges in fenced area with 24 hr. security. All the tents/rooms have twin beds, instant hot showers, generator power, swimming pools, WI-FI, comfortable beds with mosquito nets and self-contained bathrooms. The restaurant provides buffet menu for meals and European breakfast. The bar is also well stocked.
